Eleanor "Gail" Daugherty, age 78, born in Waldo, Arkansas and longtime resident of Shreveport, Louisiana, passed away Tuesday, March 14, 2017 after a valiant fight with cancer.

Mrs. Daugherty was preceded in death by her father, N.L. Eddy; and mother, Dorothy Hay Higdon.

She is survived by her loving husband, Ralph Edward Daugherty; one son, Douglas Daugherty; granddaughter, Taylor Daugherty; and one precious great-grandson, Jaysen Daugherty.

Visitation will be held from 6-8pm Friday, March 17, 2017 at Rose-Neath Southside Funeral Home.

Funeral Services will be held at 2pm Saturday, March 18, 2017 at the Smith Funeral Home Chapel in Stamps, AR with Bro. Mike Turner officiating. Interment will follow at Waldo Cemetery in Waldo, AR. Pallbearers will be Mark Rhoades, Chris Agee, Todd Duhon, Coby Cook, Jay Pittman, and Tony Pittman.
