Elisha Hampton 72, of Texarkana, TX died June 3, 2017 at Christian Care Center in Texarkana, TX. He was born to the late M. C. and Everlene Lockhart Hampton of Buckner, AR. One brother preceded him in death Roosevelt Hampton.

Elisha was a loving and caring father. He was a very loyal cowboy.

He is survived by seven sons: Dolwin Hampton, Kevin Hampton of Texarkana, AR, J. R. Hampton of Texarkana, TX, Jasper Dunbar of Douglasville, TX, Michael Dunbar of Texarkana, TX, James Easter, Bryan Easter of Falcon, AR; five daughters: Faye Jetton, Yulonda Parks of Texarkana, AR, Tennille Hampton of Magnolia, AR, Dilesha Bradley of Hope, AR, Denetrice Hamilton, one sister Elizabeth Hampton of Waldo, AR and a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren other relatives and friends.

Funeral Services at Smith Chapel at 2p.m., Saturday, June 10, 2017 with Rev. Williams Haynes officiating. Burial at Buckner Cemetery under the direction of Smith Funeral Home of Stamps.

Visitation Friday, June 9, 2017 at 11a.m. until 4:30p.m. at the Funeral Home.
