Ms Elva Teresa Ogden, 63, of Columbus, AR., passed away April 05th at Howard Memorial Hospital in Nashville, AR.
She was born February 02, 1952 in Hope, AR. To Willie Pearl Turntine Hardeman and Richard McGough.
At an early age she accepted Jesus Christ as her personal savior. She was a Sunday School Secretary for many years at Mt. Zion C.M.E. Church in Hope, AR. Ms. Ogden was employed with Southwest Development Council, holding the position of teacher from 1996-2003. Always had a beautiful smile and a helpful spirit, she'll be remembered for her laughter and love of working with children.
She was preceded in death by her step-father, Monroe Hardeman, Jr., grandparents; Elva and Ned Crockett.
Survivors include: one daughter; . Monica Deshonn Ogden of Columbus, AR. Her mother; Willie Pearl Hardeman of Columbus, AR. Three brothers; Monroe Hardeman III of Columbus, AR., Jeffery, and Kennieth McGough both San Diego, CA. Seven sisters; Jerry Johnson, Angie Eljah (Leon), Joycelyn Trotter (Wilbur), Marcia Hardeman all of Columbus, AR. Kathryn McGough Shirley of Los Angeles, CA., and Yvonne McGough Roper of San Diego, CA.
Funeral services will be held Friday, April 10th , at 11: a.m. at Mt. Zion C.M.E. Church in Hope, AR with burial following in the Cave Hill Cemetery in Hope, AR. Under the direction of A.O. Smith Funeral Home in Stamps. Officiating will be
