Emma Lois Poe, age 82 of Mount Ida, Arkansas, passed away Tuesday, March 14, 2017. Mrs. Poe was born December 17, 1934, at McKamie, AR, to P.G. and Bessie Bolton.

Mrs. Poe was preceded in death by her parents; husband, James B. Poe; two brothers, Herman Bolton and Dewain Bolton; and seven sisters, Idell Thompson, Willie Everitt, Merble Fish, Ouida Bethany, Erma Montgomery, Geneva Leggett, and Bobbie Irvin Allen.

She is survived by sister, Hazel Howell of Mount Ida, AR; three daughters, Rhonda Merritt and husband, Raymond of Tallahassee, FL; Connie Gragg and husband, Jerry of Milwaukee, WI; and Peggy Hemphill and husband, James of Hot Springs, AR; six grandchildren, Shannon, Justin, and Jeremy Gragg of Milwaukee, WI; Grayson Winters of Fayetteville, AR; Bradley Dorrough of Fort Smith, AR; and Lindsey Dorrough of Columbus, OH; and two great grandchildren, Aubrielle and Alexander.

Funeral Services will be held at 10am Friday, March 17, 2017 at the First Baptist Church in Taylor, AR with Rev. Randy Wilson officiating. Interment will follow at Oak Grove Cemetery in Stamps, AR under the direction of Smith Funeral Homes of Stamps. Visitation will be held from 6-8pm Thursday, March 16, 2017 at the church in Taylor.
