Mr. Ervin "Jake" Blake Jr., 45, of Rosston, AR passed away August 29th at Baptist Medical Center in Plano, TX.

He was born December 28, 1968 in Magnolia, AR to Ervin Blake, Sr. and Mae Lue Wyrick Blake.

He was a 1987 graduate of Bodcaw High School, served in the Arkansas National Guard, and was formerly employed at Georgia Pacific and International Paper in Gurdon, AR. before his health failed.

He was preceded in death by his mother and one sister, Darlene Davenport.

Survivors include: one daughter,Jasmine Asia Blake of Rosston, AR.; a step-son, Devin Mitchell of Little Rock, AR; his father, Ervin Blake, Sr. of Rosston, AR.;five sisters: Mrs. Wanda McClellan of Emmet, AR., Mrs. Regina Brewer (Carl) of Texarkana, TX., Mrs. Elaine King of Willisville, AR., Ms. Teresa Blake and Dr. Linda Blake both of Rosston, AR; one brother, Johnny Blake (Cynthia) of Madison, Alabama; a special friend, Ms. Teresa Mitchell of Rosston, AR.; and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins,and friends.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, September 6th , at 1 p.m. at Smith Funeral Home Chapel in Stamps, AR. with burial to follow at the Rocky Mount Cemetery in Magnolia, AR.with military honors. Under the direction of A.O. Smith Funeral Home in Stamps. Officiating will be Dr. J.C. Phillips.

Visitation will be Friday 12 noon until 5 p.m. at the funeral home.
