Ethel Louise Marlar, age 93, of Rosston, Arkansas, passed away Saturday, January 4, 2014. Mrs. Marlar was born November 9, 1920, in Dade City, Florida, to Jerry and Thelma Taylor.

Mrs. Marlar was preceded in death by her parents; husband, James H. Marlar; and three sons, Melvin, Mike and Jerry Marlar.

She is survived by her son, Sam Marlar and wife, Venesia of Sparkman, AR; two daughters, Angelia Mosley of Waldo, AR, and Patricia Wheelington and husband, Waymond of Rosston, AR; nine grandchildren and several great grandchildren.

Funeral Services will be held at 10 am Wednesday, January 8, 2014, at Willisville Methodist Church in Willisville, AR, with Rev. Jerry G. Westmoreland officiating under the direction of Smith Funeral Homes of Stamps, AR. Interment will follow at Willisville Methodist Church Cemetery.
