Floyd Lavelle Barton, age 78, of Lewisville, Arkansas passed away Sunday, May 10, 2015. Mr. Barton was born December 10, 1936 in Patmos, Arkansas to Arthur and Agnes Wesson Barton.

Mr. Barton was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Edward and James Barton; and sister, Shirley Kennedy.

He is survived by two sons, Jeff Barton and wife, Camille of Buckner, AR and James P. Barton of Lewisville, AR; brother, John Barton and wife, Patricia of Lewisville, AR; three sisters, Laverne Mattison and husband, Matt of Lewisville, AR, Mary Helen Campbell of Stamps, AR and JoAnn Smith of Junction City, AR; four grandchildren, Brittany Reeves and husband, Brian, Jonathon Barton and wife, Madison, Harley Douglas, and Jack Todd Barton and wife, Llona; three great grandchildren, Bodie and Trax Barton and Raegan Reeves; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, May 14, 2015 at the Smith Funeral Home Chapel in Stamps, AR with Bro. Gladney Hunt and Bro. Gary Becton officiating. Interment will follow at Wilson Cemetery in Lewisville, AR. Visitation will be held from 6:00-8:00 p.m. Wednesday, May 13, 2015 at the Smith Funeral Home in Stamps.
