Freddy Gerald Tarver, 94 of Taylor, Arkansas passed away Monday, July 14, 2025, at the Summit Rehab in Taylor. He was born April 17, 1931 to Fred and Rosa Tarver in Nimrod, Texas. Gerald enjoyed gardening, hunting and fishing.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Lillie Mae Tarver, his parents, three sons, Bobby Dale Tarver, Harold David McDonald and Bobby Joe McDonald and four sisters, Iona Tarver Lane, Margaret Tarver Loudamy, Bonnie Tarver Lucas and Shirley Tarver Norstrum.

He is survived by two daughters, Sharon Diane Stevens of Claremore, Oklahoma and Dorothy Fay McDonald of Branson, Missouri, along with numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and friends.

The family would like to extend a special thanks to Summit Health and Rehab and Enhabit Hospice for all their care.

Graveside services will be 10A.M. Thursday, July 17, 2025 at Welcome Cemetery south of Taylor, Arkansas. Under direction of A.O. Smith Funeral Homes in Stamps, Arkansas.

Visitation will be from 8:30A.M. until 9:30A.M. Thursday, July 17, 2025 at the A.O. Smith Funeral Home Chapel in Taylor, Arkansas
