George Phillip Jones' Obituary
George Phillip Jones, age 77 of Texarkana, Arkansas, passed away Saturday, July 8, 2017. Mr. Jones was born May 22, 1940 in Hope, Arkansas. He enjoyed fishing.
Mr. Jones was preceded in death by his parents; Tillman and Zula Jones of Lewisville, AR; one brother, James "Buddy" Garland; and three sisters, Doris Elrine Eggert, Mildred Marjorie Jones, and Arpy Dell Smith.
He is survived by one son, Billy Jones of Texarkana, AR; special friend, Stacey Jones; one brother, Bascom M. Jones of Magnolia, AR; one sister, Barbara Lou Jacks of Woodlawn, AR; and a number of nieces and nephews.
Cremation arrangements were made by Smith Funeral Homes of Stamps, AR. Online registration is available at www.aosmithfuneralhome.com.
