George Hudson Montgomery, age 74 of Willisville, Arkansas passed away Saturday, May 30, 2015 at his home. He was born on November 21, 1940 in Emerson, Arkansas to Hudson and Mary Wyrick Montgomery. Mr. Montgomery loved his church family at the Willisville Church of Christ. He retired with thirty-three years of service from the Arkansas Highway Department, and was an Army Veteran, serving during the Cuban Missile Crisis.

He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers Robert Montgomery and P.D. Montgomery, and one sister Eva Jane Montgomery.

He is survived by his loving wife of fifty-one years Sherry Montgomery of Willisville, one son Chad Montgomery and wife Dianne of Springfield, Missouri, one granddaughter Lauren Montgomery, one sister Inez Taylor of Minden, Louisiana, special niece Peggy Kelly, and numerous other nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held 2pm Tuesday, June 2, 2015 at the Willisville Church of Christ with Bro. Chris May officiating. Interment will follow at the Willisville Cemetery under the direction of A.O. Smith Funeral Homes, Inc. Visitation will be from 6-8 pm Monday, June 1, 2015 at the funeral home in Stamps.
