Glen Doyle Daugherty of Thayer, Missouri, passed away Saturday, July 16, 2016 after a lengthy illness. He was born October 29, 1933 near McKamie, Arkansas in Columbia County. Glen was a heavy equipment operator and road foreman for Lafayette County, Arkansas for 38 years. He was an avid hunter and fisherman.

Mr. Daugherty was preceded in death by his parents, J.D. and Minnie Featherstone Daugherty; sister, Dorothy Ward; two brothers, Jimmy and Billy Daugherty; and daughter, Patricia Lynn Daugherty.

He is survived by his wife, Oretia Thomas Daugherty of Booneville, MS; three daughters, Francis Rose of Booneville, MS, Annette Griffin of Leesville, LA, and Jennifer Guree of Alexandria, LA; several grandchildren and great grandchildren; and brother, Bobby Daugherty of Houston, TX.

Graveside Services will be held at 10am on Saturday, June 23, 2016 at Oak Grove Cemetery in Stamps, AR with Bro. Jerry Hutchins officiating under the direction of Smith Funeral Homes of Stamps, AR.
