Obituary

Glenda Joyce Allen, 77, of Taylor, Arkansas passed away April 25, 2019.  She was born February 16, 1942 in Taylor, Arkansas to Henry "Troy" and Mildred "Lucille" Smeltzer-Martin.  Glenda was an active member of State Line Missionary Baptist Church.  She enjoyed working outside in her flower beds, going to Lake Greeson with family and friends, helping Wray with all the chores and taking care of her grandchildren and family.

She was preceded in death by her parents and brother, Billy Hugh Martin.

Mrs. Allen is survived by her husband of 60 years, Wray Allen, two daughters, LaDonna Johnston and husband Bobby of Walker Creek, AR and Cindy Allen and husband Paul of Bradley, AR; brother, Jimmy Martin and wife Sherry of Bradley, AR; ten grandchildren, Billy Wray McLelland, Jamie Johnston, Cody Johnston and wife, Jenny, Mileah Evans and husband, Steven, Reece Endsley, Trey Endsley and fiancé, Jen Monier, Jenna Lee Allen and Cole Winkler, Kailee Grace Allen, Becky Allen and Ayleena Allen; and six great grandchildren, Addison Evans, Conley Evans, Kadi Johnston, Kali Johnston, Cruise Johnston and Cash Johnston.

She was known by her grandkids, as well as many others, as Moma Too.  She was called Aunt Sister by nieces and nephews and was known as Sis by her brothers.  She never met a stranger and loved to visit family and friends.

Funeral Services will be held Sunday, April 28, 2019 at 2pm at State Line Missionary Baptist Church with Bro. John Nations officiating.  Interment will follow at State Line Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery in Taylor, Arkansas under the direction of A.O. Smith Funeral Home. Visitation will be Saturday, April 27, 2019 from 5pm-8pm at the State Line Missionary Baptist Church.

Honoring Mrs. Allen as her pallbearers will be Bruce Lee, Steve Lee, Gene Morris, Matt Morris, Jason Martin, David Joe Wright, Robert Whitehead and Lex Wheeler.  Honorary pallbearers will be Jeff Martin, Jim Martin, Brandon Martin, Billy James Martin and Nick Tabor.
