Mrs. Gracie Mae Brown, 73 of Lewisville, AR. Passed away August 20th at West Florida Convenient Hospital in Pensacola, FL.
She was born June 19, 1941 to the late Eddie Mae and Benny Richard. She was raised in Lewisville, AR where she graduated from Foster High School. At the age of 22, she met Johnnie Lee Waldrup and relocated to Kansas City, Missouri. She was a proud mother of five children.
Mrs. Brown attended nursing school in Texarkana, AR and graduated as a Licensed Practical Nurse. She was employed as a nurse's aide at Wadley Hospital in Texarkana, TX. During the early 80's she moved to Detroit, MI. and was employed at a community daycare. After returning to Lewisville, AR, she provided in home health care for families in the Lewisville community until her health own health would not allow her. She was a faithful member of the St. James Baptist Church in Lewisville, AR., where she served joyfully as a Mission Sister and sang in the adult choir.
She was preceded in death by her parents and three special friends; Ora Mae Johnson, Mae Helen Johnson, and Earlene "Pete" Corners..

Survivors include: three daughters; Ms. Pamela Lynn Waldrup, Mrs. Melondy Neal, & Ms. Kimenthia Waldrup all of Pensacola, FL. Two special daughters; Mrs. Hatice Yilmaz of Pensacola, FL., Mrs. Alberta Hardy of Lewisville, AR. Two sons; Samuel (Sheron) Waldrup and . And Curtis (Tina) Waldrup both of Pensacola, FL. One Aunt; Mrs. Addine Adams of Lewisville, AR. Fourteen grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. A host of other family and friends.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, August 30th at 2 pm at St. James Baptist Church in Lewisville, AR with burial following in the Red Hill Cemetery in Lewisville, AR. Under the direction of Smith Funeral Home in Stamps. Officiating will be Rev. Roderick Trotter.
Visitation will be Friday 5-7:pm at St. James Baptist Church in Lewisville, AR.
