Gulfae Tidwell 85, of Hope, AR died Saturday, July 8, 2017 at Heather Manor. She was born February 16, 1932 at Hope, AR to the late Lee Burris Hendrix and Corrine McClellan.

Ms. Tidwell was a home health aid. She loved gardening, canning, baking and carpentry.

She is survived by (1) son: Calvin Tidwell of Arkadelphia, AR, (3)) daughters Linda Gant of Prescott, AR, Janice Tidwell of Texarkana, TX, Veronica Tidwell of Hope, AR: (5) sisters Archie Wheeler, Evelyn J. Flowers, Effie C. Duncan of Flint, MI, Bertha F. McClenton of Prescott, AR, Barbara Newborn of Arkadelphia, AR: (1) brother Willie D. Hendrix of Chicago, IL a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren and other relatives and friends.

Funeral Services at 11 a.m., Friday, July 14, 2017 at Pentecostal Temple COGIC at Hope, AR Elder Lavern Hicks, and Pastor Rico McClenton officiating. Burial at Elizabeth Cemetery in Prescott, AR under the direction of Smith Funeral Home of Stamps.
