Ms. Gurther Lene Madison age 93 of Buckner, Arkansas died January 5, 2021 at Summit Health and Rehabilitation Center in Taylor, Arkansas.

She was born to the late Sam Washington and Annie P. Davis Washington on January 12, 1927 in Buckner, Arkansas.

She is survived by: five sons, Alfred Madison of Waldo, Arkansas, George Madison of Taylor, Arkansas, Larry (Glinda) Madison of Buckner, Arkansas, Gary (Helen) Madison of Sikeston, Michigan,  Ruben Mitch (Vernita) Madison of Buckner, Arkansas; two daughter Helen Baxter of Buckner, Arkansas, Rose Gatewood, Texarkana, Texas; one sister, Anna Washington of Buckner, Arkansas a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, great-great grandchildren and other relatives and friends.

Celebration of Life Services will be held Saturday, January 16, 2021, at Lafayette County Football Stadium in Stamps, Arkansas at 11 a.m. with Rev. Charles Cooper officiating. Burial to follow at Buckner Community Cemetery, under the direction of Smith Funeral Home.

Visitation will be Friday, January 15, 2021 from 11 until 4 p.m.
