Hazel Marie Beeson, age 89 of Stamps, Arkansas, passed away Sunday March 27, 2016 at her home. Mrs. Beeson was born May 15, 1926 in Stamps to James and Clara Clark. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Stamps where she sang in the church choir and also sang every Wednesday at the nursing home. Mrs. Beeson was a former member of the singing group, Sweet Adelines. She also enjoyed cooking, sewing, gardening, and playing cards with her friends.

Mrs. Beeson was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Lawless Beeson; and a brother, James Clark.

She is survived by her daughter, Patsy Craven and husband, Bryan; brother, Hershel Clark; grandchildren, Yolanda Buchman and husband, Kevin; Timothy Evans and wife, Jennifer; Todd Evans and wife, Diana; Janet Calhoun and husband, Shane; Susan Moore and husband, Billy; and Bryan Craven, Jr.; and fifteen great grandchildren.

Funeral Services will be held at 11am Friday, April 1, 2016 at the First Baptist Church in Stamps with Bro. Mike Turner officiating. Interment will follow at Lakeside Cemetery under the direction of Smith Funeral Homes of Stamps. Visitation will be held from 5-7pm Thursday, March 31, 2016 at the Smith Funeral Home in Stamps.
