Hazel Evelyn Douglass, 94, of Doddridge, Arkansas passed away on January 31, 2022. She was born on November 29, 1927 in Texarkana, AR to Buie and Carmen (Thomas) Tidwell. Evelyn enjoyed sewing, cooking, gardening and reading. She loved taking care of her grandkids and great grandkids.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Johnny Douglass; parents, Buie and Carmen Tidwell; and sister, Inell Bryant.

Evelyn is survived by her two sons, Kevin Douglass and Dwight Douglass and wife, Deneta; two daughters, Theresa Lewis and husband, David and Danita LaRue and husband, Oliver all of Doddridge, AR; and many grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. on February 2, 2022 at Union Grove Church of Christ in Doddridge with Dennis Sams officiating under the direction of A.O. Smith Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Union Grove Cemetery. Visitation will be held prior to the service from 1:00P.M. to 2:00P.M.
