Helen Gunnels, age 91 of Taylor, Arkansas, passed away Thursday, April 8, 2016 at her home. Mrs. Gunnels was born March 9, 1925 in Bussey, Arkansas to Cole and Mary Ella Kyle. She enjoyed working with her flowers and quilting. Mrs. Gunnels loved spending time with her family and was a member of Beacon Baptist Church.

Mrs. Gunnels was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Orles Gunnels; son, Mike Gunnels; and two sisters.

She is survived by son, Pat Gunnels and wife, Teresa of Taylor, AR; two grandchildren, LaShae Gunnels Johnson and husband, Daniel of Springhill, LA and Ariel Gunnels Lary and husband, Geoff of Minden, LA; and three great grandchildren, Tori Bradford, Gabi Bradford, and Kyli Johnson.

Graveside Services will be held at 11am Saturday, April 9, 2016 at Harmony Cemetery in Taylor, AR with Bro. Randy Wilson officiating under the direction of Smith Funeral Homes of Stamps, AR. Online registration is available at www.aosmithfuneralhome.com.
