Mr. Henry Lee Dafney, 70, of Texarkana, AR, passed away March 7th at his home.

He was born November 03, 1944 to Alex and Mary Davis Dafney in Lewisville, AR.

He accepted Christ at an early age and was baptized at Gumpoint Baptist Church in Lewisville, AR. He graduated in 1962 from Foster High School in Lewisville, AR. , later moving to California where he took classes at Santa Monica College. Among his experiences, he worked for Richman Brothers Clothing and Haan Motoring Accessories for several years. Henry successfully owned his own business, Quality Auto Accessories, for over 30 years in California, after retiring, he moved back to Texarkana, AR. A devoted family man, he enjoyed bowling, fishing, and working on cars.

He was preceded in death by his parents, four brothers; Aron, Ellis, Howard, and Joe Dafney. Four sisters; Susie Anderson, Florida Kitchens, Sophia Briggs, and Katie Richards.

Survivors include; his wife of 43 years, Mrs. Dora Dafney, one daughter; Ms. Tamara (Nigel) Dafney, one granddaughter; Dior Leilani. One sister; Mrs. Kathleen (Kitty) Dafney of Fontana, CA. Three brothers; Will Dafney (Asie Lee) of Lewisville, AR., Curtis Dafney of Monroe, MI., and Ozie Dafney of Texarkana, AR. A host of nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, March 12th , at 11:a.m. at Smith Funeral Home Chapel in Stamps, AR. With burial to follow in Wise Church Cemetery in Lewisville, AR., . Under the direction of Smith Funeral Home, Inc. of Stamps. Officiating will be Rev Willie Lee Liggins.

Visitation; Wednesday 12:Noon. till 5:p.m. at the funeral home. The body will lie in state Thursday morning from 9:a.m. till service time at the chapel.
