Herman "Sonny" Young 77, of Waldo, AR died February 15, 2017 at Magnolia Health and Rehab.
He was born February 23, 1939 at Waldo, AR to the late Herman and Gladys Young.
He was a member of St. John #2 Baptist Church of Waldo, AR a long time member.
He is survived by is wife Louise Young of the home; two sons Sherman Young of Magnolia, Danny Young of Willisville, AR; four daughters Patricia (Kevin) Moore, Malitha (Phillip)Williams of Waldo, AR, Katrina Young of Magnolia, AR, Diana Hughey of Crossett, AR; three sisters Velma Cole, Doris (Wayne), Elizabeth (Sylvester) of Waldo, AR; two brothers Thurman E. (Bertha) Young of Chicago, IL, Truman Young of Waldo, AR; nineteen grandchildren, ten great grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends.
Funeral Services Saturday, February 25, 2017, 1p.m. at St. John #2 Baptist Church in Waldo, AR with Rev. Hal W. Prevoe officiating. Burial at Smith Cemetery-Waldo, AR under the direction of Smith Funeral Home of Stamps.
Visitation Friday, February 24, 2017 at 11-5 p.m.
