Hubert Allen Baker, 95, of Texarkana, Arkansas passed away Monday, January 8, 2024, at his residence. He was born April 4, 1928, in Stamps, Arkansas to Roy Allen and Dovie Marie Baker. Hubert was a self-taught aviation mechanic. He enjoyed spending time on his houseboat that he built. He also enjoyed music.

He was preceded in death by his parents and one sister, Dorothy Hanson.

He is survived by his wife, Bettie Lou Baker of Texarkana. One son Alan Dale Baker (Amanda) of Texarkana, Arkansas. One daughter Linda Speer (Dan) of Jonesboro, Arkansas. Four grandchildren, Nicole Lasagna (Michael), Alison Crank (Patton), Drew Speer (Kirstin), Seth Speer (Courtney). Four great-grandchildren Joseph Lasagna, Nicolas Lasagna, Jace Crank, Isaac Crank and numerous nephews, friends and family.
An informal tribute will be held 11:00A.M. Thursday, January 11, 2024, at the A.O. Smith Funeral Home chapel in Stamps, Arkansas with Bro. Jimmy Dale officiating under direction of A.O. Smith Funeral Home.

Visitation will be from 10:30A.M.--11:00A.M. at the A.O. Smith Funeral Home in Stamps, Arkansas

Private interment will follow at Lakeside Cemetery in Stamps, Arkansas.
