Huey P. Spivey, age 77, of Buckner, Arkansas, passed away Friday, March 21, 2014. Mr. Spivey was born October 2, 1936, to Ben and Rosa Spivey in Buckner. He was retired from Alumax after forty-one years. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, loved spending time with his family and never met a stranger.

Mr. Spivey was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Jane Spivey; two sons, Ronald Edward and Wayne Spivey; and three brothers, G.B. Spivey, James Spivey and Cecil Spivey.

He is survived by his daughter, Nita Lewis and husband, Robert; daughter-in-law, Lesby Garland and husband, Raymond; grandchildren, Jamie Harbour and husband, Josh; Russell Spivey and wife, Lacey; Jennifer Riley and husband, Randall; Steven Lewis and fiancé, Heather Williams; great grandchildren, Kaylie Spivey, Hayden Teague, Payton Harbour, Tanner Holt, Callie Lewis and Kambryn Spivey; one sister, Ina Fox and husband, Bill of VA; and special caregiver, Darlene of Hospice of Texarkana.

Graveside Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Monday, March 24, 2014, at Buckner Cemetery with David Perritt officiating under the direction of Smith Funeral Homes of Stamps, AR.
