Ida Nell Simpson ae 74 of Taylor, Arkansas passed away Saturday, August 27, 2016 at the Summit Health Center.
She was born to Luther (Pete) and Bessie (Berry) Allen of the Shiloh Community on March 26, 1942.

Mrs. Simpson was preceded in death by her parents, husband Willie (Billy) Simpson, infant daughter and son, and sisters Yvonne Stanford and Winnie Hatcher.

She is survived by her daughter, Sherel Goodwin and husband Andy of Taylor, Arkansas. Two sisters, Dianne Nuckolls and husband Wayne of Sarepta, LA, Anita Kay Hilburn and her husband George (Boogie) of Haughton, LA, She also leaves to mourn her passing two grandchildren and they are; Katie Robertson and her husband Jason of Taylor, Arkansas, Cody Goodwin and his wife Jessica of Taylor, Arkansas. Five great grandchildren will also cherish her memory and they are; Grey, Aiden, Cohen, Taylor and JonClaire. A host of nieces and nephews are surviving.

Graveside services were held, Monday, August 29, 2016 at 10:00 a.m. in the Forest Grove Cemetery. The family would like to express appreciation to the Summit Health Center Staff, Serenity Hospice, and to Columbia County Independent Living.
