Imogene Foster, age 86, of Stamps, Arkansas, passed away on January 2, 2024. Imogene was born on September 19, 1937, to Luther and Bertha Ann Fowler in Garland, Arkansas. She married J W Foster on December 22, 1956.  She was a member of Pleasant Grove Baptist Church. She raised broiler chickens for 33 years. Imogene enjoyed watching her grandchildren and great grandchildren play football, baseball and showing animals at the fairs.

Preceded in death by her parents, Luther and Bertha Ann Fowler; spouse, J W Foster; sons, Wesley Dewayne "Big D" Foster and Michael Don Foster; sister, Velma Fowler; brother, Charles Fowler; and grandson, Justin Foster.

Left to cherish her memory is her daughter, Linda Denise Hurd; sisters, Dorothy O'Neal of Lockesburg, Arkansas and Barbara Adams of Texarkana, Arkansas; grandchildren, Shana Downs, Matt Foster, Michelle Perkison, and Scott Hurd; ten great grandchildren; nieces, Marilyn Kennedy, Teresa Lumley, Karen Clay and Carla Bearden; nephews, Dennis Fowler and Davey Camp; and lifelong friends, Edwin and Mary Joe Rogers.

Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, January 6, 2024, at 2:00 p.m., at A O Smith Funeral Home Chapel, in Stamps, Arkansas. Officiating the service will be Brother Adam Rogers, under the direction of A O Smith Funeral Home. No graveside service will be held.

Visitation will be held on Friday, January 5, 2024, from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at A O Smith Funeral Home Chapel, Stamps, Arkansas.

The family has asked that memorials be made to Sardis Cemetery of Stamps, Arkansas.
