Ironton Bevins, Jr., age 64, of Lewisville, Arkansas passed away January 7, 2020 at his home.  He was born March 21, 1955 in Columbus, Ohio to Ina and Ironton Bevins, Sr.  He loves spending time outdoors.

Mr. Bevins was preceded in death by his parents; two sons, Richard and Matt Bevins; and brother, Ronnie Shanks.

He is survived by his wife, Polly Bevins of Lewisville, AR; son, Chris Bevins and wife, Megan of Winnsboro, TX; daughter, Shelly Martinez and husband, Val of Lexington, KY; five brothers, Bobby Bevins of Chino Hills, CA, Larry Shanks and wife, Regina of Nacogdoches, TX, Howard Shanks, Jr. of Lufkin, TX, Timmy Shanks of Baytown, TX and Robert Shanks of Magnolia, AR; two sisters, Juanita Mitchell and husband, Davis of Waldo, AR and Judy Martinez and husband, BJ of Tuscon, AZ; seven grandchildren Logan Bevins, Alex Green, A.J. Bevins, Austin Bevins, Bristol Bevins, Maddox Bevins and Elijah Bevins; special friend, Kerri Bobo and husband, Charlie and a host of nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held 6PM-8PM Thursday, January 8, 2020 at A.O. Smith Funeral Home Chapel in Stamps.  A memorial service will be held at a later date.
