James Mac Allen age 76, of Stamps, AR passed away January 5, 2021 at Magnolia Regional Hospital. Mac was born December 13, 1944 in Stamps, AR to Curtis and Euna Allen.

He retired from Unit Structures where he was a draftsman and sales analyst. He was a member of Liberty Baptist Church where he was the cemetery treasurer for many years. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, going to church and mostly spending time with his family.

He was preceded in death by his parents and his wife of 34 years, Barbara Allen. One brother, Carrol Allen, one son-in-law, Michael Smith and a grandson, Justin Smith.

He is survived by four daughters: Glenda Smith of Buckner, AR, Dana Downs and husband Bill of Stamps, AR, Tammy Yates and husband Stevie of Lewisville, AR, and Tina Downs and husband David of Stamps, AR. Fifteen grandchildren: Morgan Braswell and husband Josh, Lauren Smith, Kristin Smith, Camden Smith, Marena Langston and husband Nick, Ryan Downs, Lindsey Downs, Carly Downs, Taylor Yates, Brittany Yates, Amber Yates, Makayla Downs, Kaleb Downs, Macy Downs, and Katelyn Downs. Six great-grandchildren: Brody, Brylee, Brantlee, Brooks, Brady, and Briar Braswell. Special friend Ellen McMurrough.

Pallbearers: Josh Braswell, Camden Smith, Ryan Downs, Kaleb Downs, Nick Langston, and Canon Orr

Funeral services will be held 2PM Friday, January 8, 2021 at the A.O. Smith funeral home chapel. Interment will be held at Liberty Baptist Church cemetery in Stamps, AR with Bro. Adam Rogers officiating under direction of A. O. Smith Funeral Home. The register book will be available for signing Thursday, January 7, 2021 from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Liberty Baptist Church Youth Fund or the Justin Blake Smith Memorial Vocational Scholarship Fund.
