James "Jim" Gore, 60, of Bradley, AR, passed away Friday, November 13, 2015 at his home. Mr. Gore was born December 11, 1954 to Lewis and Jean (Chandler) Gore.
Mr. Gore was a farmer. He was also a member of the Bradley Baptist Church, a Mason, and a Shriner. He enjoyed his grandchildren, working, and the outdoors, especially the mountains.
Mr. Gore was preceded in death by his brother Eddie Gore.
He is survived by his wife Retha Gore, of Bradley; his daughter Ashley Hooks and husband Mike, of Camden, AR; his son Jim Gore and wife Michalee, of Little Rock, AR; His parents Lewis and Jean Gore, of Taylor, AR; Sisters Debbie Bennett and husband Greg, of Ruston, LA, and Lori Terrell and husband James, of Texarkana, TX. He is also survived by his grandchildren Scout, Brick, Hattie, Drake, Avery, Madison, and Braxton.
Funeral Services will be held at 2:00P.M., Tuesday November 17, at the Bradley Baptist Church, with Bro Toby Talley officiating, assisted by Bro. Aaron Leggett. Eulogies will be given by Mr. Kelly Kelner and Mr. Obie Sims. Interment will follow at the Walnut Hill Cemetery under the direction of A.O. Smith Funeral Homes, Inc. Visitation will be held at the Bradley Baptist Church, Monday, from 5:00P.M. – 7:00P.M.
Memorials may be made to the Bradley Baptist Church or to the Shriner's Hospital.
Honoring Mr. Gore as his Pallbearers will be Jake Howell, Tim Spruell, Bubba Kelner, Scott Chandler, Lance Chandler, Jeremy Tisdale, Rick Stanley, Cody Miller, Danny Cannon, and Darrell Endsley. Serving Jim as Honorary Pallbearers will be Melbourne Dinkins, Tom Brackman, Roy Rogers, Frank Schweitzer, Jimmy Brackman, Travis Gore, Preston Young, John Bishop, Eddie Dinkins, Jim Martin, Bob Evans, and `Willie Spruell.
