James Clyde Williams, Sr, known to everyone as J.C., left this earth after 67 years, to be with Jesus on Friday, July 22, 2016 at 2:30 pm at his home in Bradley, AR. He was born to Willie Mae Johnson and James Benuard Williams in Corpus Christi, TX on 7/11/1949. J.C. was a loving and dedicated husband to Debi for almost 44 years and a loving father and grandfather to his 2 children and his 5 grandchildren.

J.C. was a member of Bradley Baptist Church where he was the men's Sunday School teacher. He loved his church and church family. J.C. also loved his community where he served as a volunteer fire fighter and first responder for 25 years. And served as Bradley Mayor for 8 years. J.C. was also an auxiliary officer for Lafayette County Sheriffs Office.

J.C. was preceded in death by his mother Willie Mae Johnson, father James Benuard Williams, sister Donetta Friesen, brother Jimmy Neal Williams, and grandson Tyler J. Cox.

J.C. is survived by his wife Debi Williams of Bradley, AR, son James C. Williams, Jr. and wife Misty of Bradley, AR, daughter Denise Cox and husband Randy of Bradley, AR, 3 granddaughters Jorden, Kasidi, and Peyton, 1 grandson James III, 4 sisters Sindi Roggach of San Jose, CA, Gwen Thompson and husband Steve of Grove, OK, Lissa Lee and husband JT of Hydro, OK, and Ellen Williams of Keithville, LA, 3 brothers Robert Neely and wife Kay of Fouke, AR, Darrell Sanders and wife Ernestine of Ashdown, AR, and Dennis Williams and wife Paula of Fouke, AR, and many cousins, nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews.

Honorary pallbearers will be members of his Sunday School class, Melbourne Dinkins, Tom Brackman, Jimmy Martin Sr., Roy Rogers, Preston Young, Travis Gore, Jimmy Brackman, and Bob Evans.

A Memorial service will be held on Saturday, July 30, 2016, at 2:00PM, at the Baptist Church in Bradley, AR with Bro. Andrew Kibbe officiating and Rev. Gladney Hunt assisting
