James Kenneth Hicks "Kenny", age 59, of Malvern, AR passed away Thursday, September 28, 2017 at North Metro Medical Center in Jacksonville, AR. Mr. Hicks was born September 17, 1959 to Rev. Joe and Faye Hicks. Kenny was a firm believer in Jesus Christ and was a member of Union Baptist Church. He enjoyed fishing, working on things and driving fast.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and two brothers, Allen and Bobby Hicks.

He is survived by three sons, John David Hicks, Kenneth Shane Hicks and wife Alicia, and Jimmy Hicks; daughter, Kimberly Hicks Myer; two brothers, Randy Hicks and wife Timothia of Malvern, AR, Kerry Hicks and wife Bobbi of Mena, AR; sister, Linda Hicks of Malvern, AR and numerous grandchildren.

A Graveside Services will be held at 2:00PM Monday, October 2, 2017 at Union Cemetery in Bodcaw, AR with Rev. Joe Brown officiating and Rev. Charles Taylor assisting under the direction of Smith Funeral Homes of Stamps, AR. Pallbearers will be Shane Hicks, Aaron Arterbury, Charles Taylor, Tommy Hicks, and Paul Hicks.
