James Foy Martin, age 79, of Buckner, Arkansas died September 9, 2019 at The Waters of Stamps.  He was born March 5, 1940 in Rosston, Arkansas to J.T. and Perlie Marie Hendrix Martin.  He was employed at Lafayette County Road Department for many years.

He was preceded in death by his parents; daughter, Karen Martin Dyer; sister, Mary Frances Glisson; and brother, Sidney Wayne Martin.

Mr. Martin is survived by his wife, Teresa Martin; two sons, Dennis Martin and wife, Debra of Waldo, AR and Damien Latham of the home; two daughters, Melissa Martin of Batesville, AR and Sera Latham of the home; step children, Chris Henderson of Mena, AR, Darin Latham of Texarkana, AR and Stacy Hatfield and Steve of Redwater, TX;  brother, Dennon Martin and wife Debbie of Buckner; sister, Peggie Vansickle of Magnolia; grandchildren, Lisa Martin, Hannah Barnett and husband Chris, and Leah Dyer; step grandchildren, Katie Hayes, Collin Hatfield, Clayton Hatfield, Wendy Satterfield, Dana Huffman and husband Todd, William Holmes and Taylor Washington and husband Alex; great grandchildren, Chase Guidry, Cierra Guidry, Christian Washington and Ainsley Washington; special sister in law, Gail Stewart and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.  The family would like to give a special thanks to Encompass Hospice and The Waters of Stamps.

Graveside services will be held 10AM Thursday, September 12, 2019 at Falcon Cemetery in Falcon, AR with Bro. Charlie Zumwalt officiating.  Visitation will be from 6PM-8PM Wednesday, September 11, 2019 at the A.O. Smith Funeral Home Chapel in Stamps.

Honoring Mr. Martin as pallbearers will be Chase Guidry, Daniel Harrison, Jimmy Fitzgerald, Ricky Jones, Richie Brewster and Danny Ormand.
