James "Harold" Teague, Sr., age 72, of Buckner, Arkansas, passed away Tuesday, April 22, 2014, at his home from a lengthy illness. Mr. Teague was born November 29, 1941, in Buckner. He was a member of Temple Baptist Church in Springhill, Louisiana. Mr. Teague was known by many friends and family as "Brother".

Mr. Teague was preceded in death by his parents Elery and Alma Louise Altom Teague.

He is survived by his wife of fifty-four years, Kathryn Jester Teague; two sons, James Teague, Jr. and wife, Holli of Springhill, LA, and Tommy Teague and wife, Leah of Lake Erling, AR; two grandsons, Heath Teague and wife, Erin of Hoover, AL, and Colby Teague of Lake Erling, AR; four granddaughters, Makali McClure and husband, Bob of Shongaloo, LA, Paige Teague of Springhill, LA, and Cassidy and Chelsey Teague of Lake Erling, AR; four great grandchildren, Camdyn and Taytum Teague of Hoover, AL, and Makinley and Tinsley McClure of Shongaloo, LA; one sister, Peggy Minter of Buckner, AR; one brother, Don Teague and wife, Linda of Patmos, AR; one special sister-in-law, Fern Irwin and husband, Don of Walker Creek, AR; and a host of nieces and nephews.

Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, April 25, 2014, at Smith Funeral Home in Stamps, AR, with Bro. John Force officiating. Interment will follow at Forest Grove Cemetery in Walker Creek, AR. Visitation will be held from 6:00-9:00 p.m. Thursday, April 22, 2014, at the Smith Funeral Home in Stamps.
