Ms. Janet Marie "Big Sis" Smith, 57, of Buckner, AR. passed away May 16th at her home

She was born July 3, 1957 in Little Rock, AR to Napoleon Lowe and Lee Velma Reed.

She was a 1975 graduate of Stamps High School, worked at Alan White (Atec) for many years, then worked at Falcon Product for 15 years, and at Falcon Country Store until her health failed. She was a member of Clevet Springs Baptist Church, joined at an early age. April 10, 1982, she united in Holy Matrimony to Dawney Ray Smith.

She's preceded in death by her parents, her husband, grandparents, grandson (Jai'vion Maxwell), and sister-in-law (Janice M. Lowe)

Survivors include: three children; Alex Ray Lowe, Regginal Smith (Shaundra) Asia Smith (Tevin Maxwell) all of Buckner, AR. Four sisters; Tyris Jones (Billy) of Stamps, AR., Hazel Lamay (Fred) of Garland, AR., Carolyn Richardson (Joe) of Lewisville, AR., Jacqueline Davis (Rueben) of Garland, AR. Four brothers; Horace Lowe (Janice), Napoleon Lowe, Jr. (Stacy), Christopher Lowe (Cassandra) all of Texarkana, TX and Bobby Gulley of Denton, TX. One grandchild Jaida Marie Maxwell. Her dearest friends; John and Millie Knight of Falcon, AR. A host of aunts, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, May 23rd , at 11:a.m. at the Smith Funeral Home Chapel in Stamps, AR. With burial to follow in the Clevet Springs Cemetery in Falcon, AR. . Under the direction of Smith Funeral Home, Inc. of Stamps, AR. Officiating will be Rev. Ray Johnson.

Visitation: Friday 11:a.m.-5:p.m. at the funeral home.
