Jean Ellen Tatum, 86, of New Boston, Texas, passed away on November 26, 2022. She was born on April 1, 1936 in Big Cedar, Oklahoma to Dick Fields and Mary Jewell (Holleman) Fields. Jean was a member of the Salvation Army Church in Texarkana, Texas. She participated in the Angel Tree for the church for 13 years at Central Mall. One of Jean's enjoyments in life was to spoil her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Jean was preceded in death by her parents, Dick and Mary Fields; her husband, Bill Tatum; a son, Marty Wright; two brothers, Harold Dean (Dione) Fields and Dale (Joyce) Fields.

Left to cherish her memory is her daughter, Pam White of New Boston, Texas; two sons, James Wright of Mena, Arkansas and Robert Wright of Texarkana, Arkansas; twelve grandchildren, twenty-five great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

A Graveside service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on November 30, 2022 at the Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Texarkana under the direction of A.O. Smith Funeral Home of Stamps, Arkansas. A visitation will be held thirty minutes prior to the service at Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
