Jeffery Lane "Boze" Kennedy, age 49, of Lewisville, Arkansas, passed away Saturday, April 19, 2014. Mr. Kennedy was born August 31, 1964, in Springhill, Louisiana. Boze was an avid hunter and fisherman. He enjoyed gardening, playing the guitar and singing. He loved his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and spending time with family. He worked for the Arkansas Forestry Commission as a County Ranger/Law Enforcement for twenty-six years and served as a Reserve Lafayette County Deputy since 2008.

Mr. Kennedy was preceded in death by his father, Harold C "Skeeter" Kennedy; grandparents, Russell and Viola Benson and C.W. and Ann Eva Kennedy; and uncle, Dale Benson.

He is survived by his wife, Jackie Kennedy of Lewisville, AR; mother, Betty Kennedy and L.D. Nail; son, Justin Kennedy of Lewisville, AR; three daughters, Samantha Plafcan and husband, Brian of Lewisville, AR; Sara Flynt and husband, Chris of Taylor, AR; and Sheila Patillo and husband, Derick of Stamps, AR; brother, Wayne Kennedy and wife, Jessica of Sarepta, LA; sister, Nikki Kennedy Toms and husband, Clay of Benton, LA; grandchildren, Kaley Flynt, Isaac Flynt, Drew Plafcan, Max Flynt, Emma Plafcan and Allison Flynt; and numerous nieces, nephews, uncles, aunts and a host of friends.

Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, April 23, 2014, at the Smith Funeral Home Chapel in Stamps, AR, with Bro. Doug Hovarter officiating. Interment will follow at Springhill Cemetery in Springhill, LA. Visitation will be held from 5:00-8:00 p.m. Tuesday, April 22, 2014, at the Smith Funeral Home in Stamps.
