Jessie Lee Stidham Caskey, age 82 of Bradley, Arkansas, passed away Sunday, January 22, 2017 at Springhill Medical Center in Springhill, Louisiana. Mrs. Caskey was born November 30, 1934 in Bradley to Henry and Jennie Lee Stidham. She was a member of Bradley Baptist Church. She was an awesome cook and loved to cook for her family and friends. She loved to fish, garden, work in the yard, and enjoyed sports. Mrs. Caskey played basketball in high school, was an avid bowler, and loved watching her children and grandchildren play sports. She loved the Arkansas Razorbacks.
Mrs. Caskey was preceded in death by her parents; four brothers, Hubert Stidham, James "Top" Newton, Glen Newton, and Homer Stidham; two sisters, Edith Jones and Virginia Stidham; the father of her children, L.A. "Squeaky" Caskey; and granddaughter, Caitlin Caskey.
She is survived by two sons, James "Speedy" Caskey of Bradley, AR and Jerry Caskey and wife, Tammy of Hot Springs Village, AR; two daughters, Linda Edens and husband, Johnny and Tonie Caskey all of Springhill, LA; eight grandchildren, Melissa Lindsey and husband, Terry of Taylor, AR; Ashley Edens of Sarepta, LA; Lacy Caskey of Austin, TX; Cassie Lowe and husband, Justin of Magnolia, AR; Daniel Collier and wife, Erica of Stamps, AR; Cody Caskey and wife, Chris of Round Rock, TX; Jerred Caskey and wife, Laura of Burleson, TX; and Dakota Caskey of Ashdown, AR; and eleven great grandchildren.
A Graveside Service will be held at 2pm Wednesday, January 25, 2017 at Walnut Hill Cemetery in Bradley, AR with Bro. Andrew Kibbe officiating under the direction of Smith Funeral Homes of Stamps, AR. Visitation will be held from 5-8pm Tuesday, January 24, 2017 at Bradley Baptist Church in Bradley, AR. Pallbearers will be Cody Caskey, Terry Lindsey, Jerred Caskey, Dakota Caskey, Hayden Lindsey, Ty Lindsey, and Peyton Heahn. Online registration is available at www.aosmithfuneralhome.com.
