Jessie Eugene Gulley 67, of Rosston, AR died Wednesday, September 13, 2017 at Heather Manor Nursing Home in Hope, AR. He was born to Thomas Cornelius and Azzie Rean Gulley on October 13, 1949 in Nevada County.

Jessie was and retired logger. He attended Oak Groves Baptist Church in Rosston, AR.

Preceded in death by his parents, three brothers: Thomas, Wilson, Charles Gulley and one sister: Bernice Gulley.

He leaves to cherish his memories one son: Bernard Gulley of Arkadelphia, AR, four sisters: Lorene Smallwood, Mae Rene Gulley of Gurdon, AR, Verna R. Williams of Prescott, AR, Mae Lou Mixon of Oakland, CA, four brothers: Frank Gulley of Donaldson, AR, Lee Davis Gulley of Malvern, AR, Ray Gulley of Texarkana, AR, Clarence Gulley of Nashville, AR: a special daughter Wilma Mitchell, two special grandchildren Jahlon Mitchell, Jenesis Mitchell of Arkadelphia, AR and a host of other relatives and friends.

Viewing will be Friday, September 22, 2017 at First Street Funeral Home from 11 - 4:30 p.m.

Funeral services Saturday, September 23, 2017 at Oak Grove Baptist Church in Rosston, AR at 11 a.m., with Rev. Jerry Bishop officiating.
Burial to follow at Barksdale Cemetery under direction of Smith Funeral Home of Stamps.
