Jimmy Richard Camp, age 67 of Stamps, Arkansas, passed away Tuesday, March 7, 2017. Mr. Camp was born September 11, 1949 in Stamps to Johnny and Velta Camp. He was a member of First Baptist Church of Stamps and a Southern State College graduate from Magnolia with a degree in business. He was a retired Criminal Investigator for Lafayette County and was known as "Jimbo" the Wheeler Dealer and as "Shag" to many. Mr. Camp was known for and enjoyed raising tomatoes.

Mr. Camp was preceded in death by his parents; and brother, Harlis Camp.

He is survived by his wife, Joyce Camp of Stamps, AR; brother, David Camp of Stamps; two sisters, Joanne Hicks of Texarkana, TX and Jean McKelroy of Buckner, AR; and many other family and friends.

Funeral Services will be held at 2pm Sunday, March 12, 2017 at First Baptist Church in Stamps with Bro. Mike Turner officiating. Interment will follow at Sardis Cemetery under the direction of Smith Funeral Homes. Visitation will be held from 6-8pm Saturday, March 11, 2017 at the Smith Funeral Home in Stamps.
