Jimmy Truman Martin, Sr.,74, of Bradley, Arkansas, passed away on September 18, 2022, at Summitt Health Care in Taylor, Arkansas. Jimmy was born on December 27, 1947, to Henry Troy Martin and Mildred Lucille (Smeltzer) Martin. Jimmy enjoyed working with his cows and when he wasn't messing with his cows, he would enjoy hunting. He was the past fire chief in River Bend and was a member of State Line Baptist Church. Jimmy was a certified mechanic for Haliburton. Most of all, Jimmy loved his family and friends.

Jimmy was preceded in death by his parents, Henry Troy Martin and Mildred Lucille (Smeltzer) Martin; one brother, Billy Hugh Martin; and one sister, Glenda Joyce Allen.

He is survived by his wife, Sherry Martin of Bradley, Arkansas; three sons, Jason Martin (Theresa) of Bradley, Arkansas, Jim Martin Jr.(Angela) of Bradley, Arkansas, and Jamie Austin of Springhill, Louisiana; two daughters, Melanie Martin of Bradley, Arkansas and Michelle Evans (Danny) of Blanchard, Louisiana; 16 grandchildren, Jason Jims, Ashlie Smith, Faith Roncali, Hunter Martin, Jacob Martin, Samantha Reichert, Mekayla Garrett, Lydia Brown, Levi Martin, Kelsie Thibedeaux, Nicholas Tabor, Shelby Hart, Jamie Dale Austin Jr., Terry Walton, Zachery Bullock, Catilin Bullock; 14 great grandchildren.

Memorial Service to be held at State Line Baptist Church on Saturday, September 24, 2022, at 3:00 p.m with Brother Derek Herrington officiating. "Come as Jimmy knew you."
