Jimmy Minniefield was born February 6, 1944 to Carrie Bolden and Grady Minniefield in Taylor, AR. He entered into his eternal resting place on Thursday, November 23, 2017.

He received his schooling at the C. S. Woodard School in Friendship, AR. He worked in construction at Gilbert Construction Company in Sand Springs, Oklahoma.

He was preceded in death by both parents; three brothers, Grady Dale Minniefield, Johnny Minniefield and Grady Minniefield, Jr.; and one sister Roberta Colquitt.

Jimmy is survived by six sons, Patrick Robinson, Carise Cooper, Johnny A. Rankin of Springhill, LA, Eric Rankin of Texarkana, AR, Carlos (Brittany) McDaniel of Baton Rouge, LA, Timothy Lawson of Taylor, AR; one daughter, Tiffany (Van) Harris of Texarkana, AR; twelve grandchildren, two great grandchildren; a special close niece,
Carolyn Randle of Texarkana, TX; a special nephew, Timothy Colquitt of Texarkana, AR; and a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral Service will be Saturday, December 2, 2017, at 11 a.m. at St. Paul Baptist Church in Taylor, AR with Rev. J. L. Randle officiating. Burial will be at St. Paul Cemetery under the direction of Smith Funeral Home of Stamps, AR - 415 West 1st Street.
