Jimmy Lynn Nations, 77, of Lewisville, Arkansas went to be with his Lord and Savior on April 18, 2021. He was born on February 15, 1944 in Magnolia, Arkansas to Walter and Lillie Bailey Nations. Jimmy loved God, family and music. He loved people. He began playing music at a young age and continued through life. A family man who could have gone to Nashville but chose to raise a family. He was one of the original Reo Ramblers and played with talents like Marty Robbins, Mel Tillis, Conway Twitty and a host of others. When visiting with him, he would always play you a tune and even ask you to sing along. He worked at Halliburton for 17 years before owning Wells Feed and Garden Supply and finished his career greeting and helping you at S&S Hardware.

Jimmy was preceded in death by his parents; three brothers, Joe, Jerry, and Duane Nations; three sisters, Margie Benefield, Lanoma Gibson and Lucille Benefield; and granddaughter, Abigail.

He is survived by his loving wife of 55 years, Marilyn Nations; son, Steven Nations; daughter, Michelle Nations; brother, Bill Nations; sister, Pat Purtle; grandchildren, Brandon Nations, Gabriel Downs and husband, Tyler, Trevor Nations, Lane Nations, Skyler Hefley and wife, Ashley, Cameron Powell and fiancé, Sarah; one great granddaughter, Braylee Downs; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends-each he considered family.

Funeral services will be held at 2P.M. on Wednesday, April 21, 2021 at Piney Grove Baptist Church with John Buehler officiating under the direction of A.O. Smith Funeral Homes. Interment will follow at Sewell Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, April 20, 2021 at Piney Grove Baptist Church in Lewisville from 6P.M.-8P.M.
