John Louis Featherston, age 87 of Lewisville, Arkansas, passed away Wednesday, January 25, 2017. Mr. Featherston was born October 22, 1929 in Bradley, Arkansas to Charlie and Joanna Featherston. He attended Canfield Baptist Church.

Mr. Featherston was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, C.W. and Eugene Featherston; two sisters, Fannie Covington and Mable DeLaney; and nephew, Homer Featherston.

He is survived by his wife of sixty years, Shirley Featherston of Lewisville, AR; brother-in-law, Terrell DeLaney; several nieces, nephews, nieces-in-law, and nephews-in-law.

Funeral Services will be held at 2pm Sunday, January 29, 2017 at the Smith Funeral Home Chapel in Stamps, AR with Bro. Charles Bell officiating. Interment will follow at DeMoss Cemetery.
