John Allen Garrett, IV, passed away on Thursday, April 14, 2022, in Shreveport, Louisiana.  He was born on May 13, 1971 to John Allen Garrett, III and Mary Jane (Wilson) Garrett in Cleaveland, TX.  He worked as motor man on drilling rigs. He was an avid outdoorsman, enjoying hunting and fishing.

Mr. Garrett is survived by his parents; son, John Allen Garrett, V and wife Mekayla of Taylor, AR; daughter, Brittany Garrett of Lewisville, AR ; sister Terri Lynn Garrett of Texarkana, AR; grandchildren, Bryson Couch, Brenly Jernigan, Braxton Jernigan, Evelyn Garrett, and Rickey Bo Garrett; and special friend, Sandy Owens of Bossier City, LA.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, April 20, 2022 at 10:00A.M. At Bradley Methodist Church with Rev. Gladney Hunt officiating.  Interment will follow at Walnut Hill Cemetery under the direction of A. O. Smith Funeral Home, Inc.  Visitation will be held on Tuesday, April 19, 2022 at Bradley Methodist Church.

Honoring Mr. Garrett as his pall bearers will be John Allen Garrett, V, Ryan Cole, Jake Jernigan, Larry Mullins, Rickey Burton, and Colt Colvin.
