John Edmund Green, age 77, passed away on Friday, June 12, 2026, at South Arkansas Regional Medical Center, El Dorado, Arkansas. John was born to Joe and Mildred Green on September 4, 1948. John serviced the public as a police officer during his younger years.

John was preceded in death by his parent. He is survived by his loving sisters, Janice (Larry) Knighton of Shreveport, LA and Mary Jo (Edwin) Rogers of Stamps, AR; sons, Michael Green, Royce Bennett, and Justin Bennett; and his furbaby, Chi chi.

There will be a memorial service held on Thursday, June 18, 2026, at 2:00 pm in Stamps, Arkansas at A O Smith Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Jason Floyd officiating.
