John Thomas Pickett, 81, of Taylor, Arkansas, passed away on December 8, 2022, at Summit Health & Rehab. Center in Taylor, Arkansas. John was born on July 21, 1941, to Elsie Clara Pickett in Walker Creek, Arkansas. John was a member of Forest Grove Missionary Baptist Church. During his lifetime he was a member of the Masons organization. One of John's biggest enjoyment in life was his work.

John was preceded in death by his mother, Elsie Clara Pickett; two brothers, Troy Jannell Martin and Travis Roton.

Left to cherish memories of John is one daughter, Liz (Mike) Scott, of Taylor, Arkansas; two sons, John (Stephanie) Pickett Jr of Taylor, Arkansas and Bobby Pickett of Hope, Arkansas; one brother, Curtis Roton of Taylor, Arkansas; grandchildren, Jamie Scott, J.W. Pickett, Jody Pickett and Jared Pickett; great grandchildren, Jamison Rich, Jasetyn Rich, Jaselyn Rich, Teagan Pickett, John Walker Pickett, Emma Jay Pickett; Relatives that were just like his brothers, Jerry Dean Pickett and Tom Pickett and numerous nieces and nephews and many extended family members.

There will be a memorial service held at Forest Grove Missionary Baptist Church in Walker Creek, Arkansas on Sunday, December 11, 2022, at 2:00 p.m. with the Bro. Chet Johnson officiating.

Cremation Services are provided by A.O. Smith Funeral Home of Stamps, Arkansas.
