John Lee Robinson, age 79 of Benton, Louisiana, passed away Monday, December 4, 2017. He was born August 15, 1938 in Langdale, Alabama to Harvey and Louise Taylor Robinson. Mr. Robinson was very pro-military and made a career from serving in the military. He enjoyed his family, traveling and working; he was a good provider. He was also a culinary chef in charge of operations for the Officer's Clubs and other facilities on bases throughout the world.

Mr. Robinson was preceded in death by his parents; and his wife, Dora Mae Barnett Robinson.

He is survived by five daughters, Sherry D. Neace and husband, Roger of Lexington, KY; Jana L. Elliott of Benton, LA; Merla R. Hill and husband, Mark of Mountain Home, AR; Mandi D. Pratt and husband, Steven of Shreveport, LA; and Krista D. McClure and husband, Bill of Abilene, TX; one brother, James Robinson and wife, Jane of LaGrange, GA; thirteen grandchildren and thirteen great grandchildren.

Funeral Services will be held at 2pm Saturday, December 9, 2017 at the Bradley Baptist Church in Bradley, AR with his grandson, Dr. Jeremy Horton officiating. Interment will follow at Walnut Hill Cemetery in Bradley under the direction of Smith Funeral Homes of Stamps, AR. Online registration is available at www.aosmithfuneralhome.com.
