John Eugene Savage, son of the late Sam and Hazel(Davis) Savage was born November 19, 1955 in White Cliff, AR. He departed this life May 6, 2016 at Methodist Hospital, Dallas, TX.
He attended and graduated from Mineral Springs High School in 1973. After graduation, he joined the United States Army, where he served for twenty-three years. During which time he served during Operation Desert Storm. After retirement from military, he joined the civilian work force and chose a career as Commercial Transportation Operator.
He was baptized as one of Jehovah's Witnesses and attended the South Tyler Congregation in Tyler, TX, where he served with his wife, TerrLyn.
He leaves to cherish his memory, wife of thirty-eight years, TerrLyn(Johnson) Savage; 2 sons: Terrel LaKeith and JonQuill Kenyata Savage;
3 grandchildren: Kevon MarKeith, Estre'ya Avanae and Tra'vor Jerel Savage. Uncles(2), Aunts (5) and a host of relatives and friends.
Memorial Services will be Saturday, May 14, 2016 @ 2 p.m. in Tyler, TX at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, South Tyler Congregation, 13190 State Hwy 155 South; Tyler, TX 75703.
