John Curtis Ward, 61, of Hot Springs, Arkansas, formerly of Waldo, Arkansas, passed away on Saturday, November 2, 2024, in Quapaw Nursing and Rehab Center of Hot Springs, Arkansas. He was born to Henry Garner and Nelda Sue (French) Ward in Magnolia, Arkansas on February 3, 1963. He enjoyed friends and family, working on cars, listening to music, and drinking beer. Mr. Ward was an electrician by trade, working in both commercial and residential industries.
Mr. Ward is preceded in death by his parents, and fiancé, Echo Beeson.
He is survived by two daughters, Cassondra Ward of Royal, AR, and Lea Harlow, and husband Hiram, of Bismark, AR; a brother, Lamar Ward; a sister, Sandra Garrard; six grandchildren, Haydn Yancey, Christian Yancey, Makala Magby, Jayala Ellis, Hamiley Harlow, and Ezekiel Harlow; one great grandchild, Preston Yancey; nephew, Hank Ward; niece, Stacy Rainey; along with numerous other nephews and nieces.
Funeral services will be held on November 5, 2024, at 2:00 P.M., at the A.O. Smith Funeral Home Chapel in Stamps, AR.
Serving as pallbearers will be Haydn Yancey, Christian Yancey, Hiram Harlow, Hank Ward, Wayne Yancey, and John Lambert.
Cremation Services are under the direction of A. O. Smith Funeral Home, Stamps, AR.
