John Willie Wilkerson, JR, 70, of Taylor, Arkansas passed away at his home, on Thursday, September 18, 2025.John was born to John W. Wilkerson, SR and Ocia Fay (Dickson) Wilkerson in Magnolia, AR on March 15, 1955. John was a member of Beacon Baptist Church. He enjoyed the outdoors, hunting, motorcycles, cooking, working and tinkering on things and he loved reading and studying history. He also treasured spending time with his family and friends.

Mr. Wilkerson is preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Robert Tony Sims and Floyd Sims; and sister, Patsy Sims Corbin Toka.

He is survived by two sisters, Judith Jackson (Bobby) of Taylor, AR and Linda Formica (Ross), of Taylor, AR.; He is also survived by special friends, Ragina and Wes McDaniels and numerous nieces, nephews and friends.

Honoring Mr. Wilkerson as pallbearers are Raydell Cannon, James Evans, Maurice Nation, Wayne Burns, Douglas Collier, Don Davidson and Pat Gunnels.

A memorial service will be on Sunday, September 21, 2025, at 2:00PM, at the A.O. Smith Funeral Chapel in Taylor, AR.

Mr. Wilkerson was interred at the Bussey Cemetery, under the direction of A.O. Smith Funeral Homes, Stamps, AR.
