John Lee Johnson 80, formerly of Bradley, AR died July 13, 2017 at Carrington Place in Springhill, LA. He was born June 22, 1937 to the late Rev. George Johnson and Johnnie Mae Anderson Johnson in Columbus, GA.

He was a deacon at New St. Paul Baptist Church, also was a member at Greater Mount Olive Church in Bradley, AR. He loved driving charter buses for Dart Transit in Dallas, TX and Adventures Express Company.

He is survived by: Wife Mattie Lee Johnson of Dallas, TX; two sons Tyrone (Latrish) Stevenson, A. B. (Bobbie) Stevenson of Dallas, TX; a daughter Opal Gary) Cheathom of Bradley, AR; a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, great-great grandchildren and other relatives and friends.

Funeral Services will be held Saturday, July 22, 2017 at 2p.m. at Greater Mt. Oliver Missionary Baptist Church Bradley, AR with Pastor Sylvester Tatum officiating. Burial to follow at St. Mary Cemetery under the direction of Smith Funeral Home of Stamps, AR.

Visitation will be Friday, July 21, 2017 11-4:30 p.m. at the Funeral Home (415 West 1st Street).
