Juanita Mitchell 99, of Texarkana, AR died June 21, 2017 her residence. She was born February 13, 1918 to the late Warren and Pearl Settles Smith in Texarkana, AR.

She was a homemaker, loyal wife, dedicated mother and grandmother.

She is survived by four sons: Clemis (Effie) Mitchell of Texarkana, AR
Elmer (Lela) Mitchell of Belle Ville, MI, Kenneth Mitchell of Romulus, MI, Dewayne Mitchell of Belle Ville, MI; one daughter: Ethelrine Alexander of Prescott Valley, AZ; two grandchildren, three
great grandchildren, one great-great grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral Services at New Zion Baptist Church in Texarkana, AR at 2p.m. Sunday, July 2, 2017 with Rev. Willis Harris officiating. Burial at New Zion Cemetery under the direction of Smith Funeral Home of Stamps.

Visitation Saturday, July 1, 2017 at Smith Funeral Home -415 West First Street from 8:30 a.m. - 11:30 a.m.
